ChiTown
An urban trip for Amy and I this time. We headed to the ACME in Chicago. It is a super hip and newly opened hotel that has plenty of hipster quirks to go along with the flying mannequins that appear outside our windows. The door has a chalkboard and Amy beat me at tic tac toe, each making a move when we came and went. A great, useful knock and drop service allowed us to get our thermos of coffee without getting dressed. We drove down after work and walked to get the Best pizza in the world at Lou Malanoti’s and then walked along the lights at night to fill up on Ghirardelli’s chocolate squares for walking around. We looked over the stone bridge at the river below and the lights above. The weather was brisk but not unpleasant, we spend some time hiking along the storefronts of the Magnificient mile.
