Big hills, bigger falls

We had skied several times by now, Amy and I, mostly small trails and easy inclines. The first of which during two glorious weeks of dating.  This trail north of Minocqua was a different beast all together.  We planned a weekend get away and headed to the northwoods for a get away and headed northwest for a 12 mile loop around Escanaba and pallet Lakes.    The March temperatures were amazing too warm, as the snow tended to clump on our skis under blue bird skies of early spring.  The hills were larger that we had skied before and the corners were tighter, but our happiness of being on the trail was the same. I took a good digger  on a fast left turn, missed the cedar tree, but still felt the impact on my wrist/elbow and arm.  Amy too, hit hard and I waited a long time at the bottom of the next big hill near, lumberjack trail, to watch her smiling face come down the hill...skis on here shoulder. We skied all day then headed back to the hotel parke...
